Stretch Therapy

is a very specific and advanced form of stretching that lengthens and releases deep, myofascial connective tissue. Beyond typical stretching methods, Assisted Stretching targets individual muscles in a progressive and systematic format. Assisted Stretching is facilitated by your practitioner and is interactive. Unlike traditional stretching which is held for a much longer duration and performed aggressively. This often times leads to injury and soreness. Assisted Stretching is performed (using a rope or strap for assistance if done by yourself) through your range of motion, held for a maximum of 2 seconds and doing 5-10 repetitions of at least 2 sets each. Your practitioner will also teach you to do the stretches in order for you to continue self care at home.
